I had a dream that I was trying to save these drowning panda bears...there was this complicated system of wooden cages and stairs and a man-made river. Yeah, I don’t know. But some panda’s definitely didn’t make it. And I was heartbroken.

Went to the Tribe game tonight and what the hell happened to our glory days back in ‘95? Those were some good times...instead I was choosing between the retardulous conversation between my mom and Mrs. Schreiber - this is a woman who was trying to insist that it’s Ronald Beazley and that Brick Lane by Monica Ali is really timely because of all those crazy Pakistanis in London - or the or the sixteen Air Force Grads behind me who were doing a U.S. Tour following baseball games that started in Boston and will end in Chicago...and that made me all sniffly for chi-town.

So, I ate Raspberry Ice and moped and resisted the urge to smack my mom, Mrs. S. when they kept asking me what they’d missed.
